ALR Meeting

Don't forget there will be an American Legion Riders meeting this Wednesday 7pm at the post. They are still accepting new members. If you are interested come on up the post and speak with one of our Riders.

Auxiliary Meeting

The Auxiliary held their meeting last night. Not too many showed up.
Nominations were held:
President- Barb Atkyns
Vice Pres.- Becky Maggio
2nd Vice- Kathy Pare'
Secretary- Karen Cook
Treasurer- Wendy Gagliardo
Historian- Irene Lew
Chaplain- Fran Mayne
Sgt. at Arms- Ruth Anne Morton

Elections will be held at our next meeting on April 8th 7pm. Please try to attend.

Some reminders..... The SAL "St. Patrick's Day Dinner" will be held this Saturday from 4:30 to 7:30 at the post. The cost is $8.00.

There will be a Leadership Meeting next Saturday March 21st at Parkhurst Post in Oriskany. This will be held by Mary Anne Cassadie. I hope you will want to attend. It is very informative for the Auxiliary. It will be held at 11am

Following the meeting will be the Auxiliary County Meeting. If anyone is inters ted in attending these meetings please get in touch with me.

We made donations to "Hall House" a shelter for battered women & children, also to "Operation Purple" a camp for military children.
A donation was made to Don Brown to help him get awareness out about "Organ Donation"

This month a young lady was chosen to represent our Unit Auxiliary for Empire Girls State. To be announced.

The deadline for the Auxiliary Scholarships was this month, and we received some very good applicants from the school!!!

We will need volunteers to help out with the Breakfast that we will be having on Sunday March 22nd. Contact Barb Atkyns with any questions.
