A Special Thankgiving Dinner from Scott Bullock
Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who helped provide over 100 Waterville area residents a terrific turkey dinner on Sunday, November 29th. Scott Bullock has always had a dream to organize and orchestrate such an event and with the help of Mary Beth Plourde and Irene Lew, as well as with help from many others were able to host the event at the American Legion Post 92.
Special thanks go to the American Legion Post 92 for their donations, use of space and of course the invaluable man and women power. The Legion Riders, Sons of the Legion, Ladies Auxiliary all donated their time and resources in food preparation and service. Food donations were received from The Pryputniewicz farm, Stewards and Harding Nursing home while door prize donations came in from Mary Rose Florist, Don and Theresa Trondsen, Kevin Hahn, Colette Stitts, and Mike Nelson.

Utica Devopment Center for Veterans at the old YMCA
From Wendy Gagliardo
I found out that the Veterans have not moved in the YMCA yet but they are trying to get everything set up and can use anything you would like to donate, except women’ articles. I have also found out that many Veterans have been stopping by the YMCA for help with clothing, house items etc. even if they are living somewhere else. Any thing you donate would be great.
Contact the YMCA if you want to drop off anything at 307-7270

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL
If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com/ you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them. This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's. Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

Heart Walk
Attention!!!!!
"American Legion Post #92"
Heart Walk Team Members.......
Make sure you get a good night sleep tonight!
It is going to be a beautiful day tomorrow.
I spoke with Mr. Marris and let him know that we will have about 10 or 11 to ride the bus. He said "It may be a little crowded, but we will get everyone on"
We are meeting at Oriskany Falls Legion at about 8am. The bus leaves at 9am sharp. Also don't forget we always tip the bus driver. There will be one stop on the way back and that will be at the Boro. When we return to Oriskany Falls Post they will have some snacks. And from there we will all meet up at our Post.
I have 3 big posters and 1 small one. If you have any questions please give me a call 368-3460 or 235-7149.
See you all tomorrow.
